The Big Event - 2011

This year over 250 staff and clients from services all across Yorkshire and the North East attended the Big Event held at the Riley Smith Hall, Tadcaster on Tuesday 4th October 2011.

There were stalls of healthy eating, badge making, Play your Cards Right, rug ragging, First Aid and Fire Training and hate crime – mate crime. There was a Wii machine for clients to play on and some floor games. Lunch was provided with sandwiches and homemade cakes which everyone enjoyed.

There was also time to learn Salsa dancing and then live entertainment from Deborah York (support worker at The Brambles) who sung songs from shows and then some popular songs where clients and staff were able to dance.

Raffle prizes and certificates for winners of the art and photography competition were handed out on the day by Julie Robinson, Chief Executive.

Many thanks to everyone who took part in making it a thoroughly enjoyable day out for all.
