Ann Sunters TeamThe team are seen here being presented with their award by Karen Newsome Director, St Anne’s.

The team have worked tirelessly to implement a new client database (the second time in a couple of years) which has involved the migration of information from one system to another in order to ensure a safe and accurate reporting system for clients.

This was a very challenging task especially continuing to provide quality services to clients who rely on an accurate and confidential data base for the production of their prescriptions and for access to other treatment services including counselling. The team ensured these services remained available and were safely provided during this difficult time. The service was also required to complete the NHS Information Governance Toolkit and have specific training to meet the requirements. All staff completed the training and the Manager of the service Dawn Jessop and Ann Sunter, Area Manager spent 5 days completing the toolkit which was accepted at the beginning of November.

Thanks are also due to Michael Smart and his team for their efficient support which meant the system went live on the 9th November.

The whole staff team at the City and South have worked extremely hard over the last 2 years to ensure accurate and safe reporting and meet key service targets. SMT would like to thank them for their energy and commitment shown in maintaining service quality whilst also driving through the changes to the database system, which took a huge amount of people’s time. A fully functioning system in now in place to continue to provide this valuable service to our clients.
