The team played a massive part in ensuring that two of their clients had a wedding to remember. SMT are delighted to be able to recognize the team’s achievements in helping to support our clients in arranging such a happy event.
Anne told SMT in her nomination that this was one of the happiest weddings she had ever attended and how pleased the family were with everything that St Anne’s staff had contributed. It is fantastic to be able to celebrate these happy occasions and to be able to award all those involved with a well deserved Top Team Award.
The wedding was a team effort with every member of staff taking part at some level. A planning group was arranged, staff helped to buy the clothes and accessories, book and pay for wedding reception, arrange caterers, the DJ, send out invites, book and order flowers, arrange for hair, nails and makeup to be done and book and pay for the honeymoon.
One staff member who studied photography at university did all the photographs for the wedding. All other clients attending were supported to attend and budget for the day.. Staff not at the wedding supported other clients on the day to enable staff to attend the wedding with clients they did not normally support on a Saturday
These successes can only be achieved through the dedication and hard work of the team SMT and the Board thank you for your continued contribution to the work of St Anne’s.
