Daleholme is situated in the small market town of Settle, North Yorkshire. There are several pubs and cafes as well as small shops. It’s rural location allows for some good local walking within the scenic countryside. The Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District are close by. Despite its rural location the local bus service is reasonable. The local train station is only 200 yards away and there is a taxi service in the area. A wheelchair adapted car is available at the home to ensure all clients are given the opportunity to enjoy all activities outside of the village.
Daleholme is a purpose built detached bungalow comprising a single bedroom for each client, two bathrooms, communal kitchen, dining area, a lounge and a conservatory. Clients are encouraged to personalise their room as they wish. Each bedroom has a single bed, wardrobe, easy chair, bedside locker and wash hand basin. Photographs, pictures and keepsakes make each room individual. The home is furnished and maintained to a high standard creating a warm and homely atmosphere. The home is situated in its own grounds, with a couple of maintained lawns and flower beds. There is a garden table with seating and a gazebo, allowing for time in the garden during good weather.
