Staff Developments and Benefits

Pay and Benefits

St Anne's offers competitive rates of pay and generous terms and conditions. Our total package includes the opportunity to join the West Yorkshire Pension Fund where staff contributions are enhanced by contributions from St Anne's, currently at 10.5%.

Training and Development

St Anne’s places great emphasis on ensuring that our staff receive excellent training and development opportunities. This commitment is backed up by significant investment in staff training and development, including employing a full time training team. St Anne’s commitment to staff development is evidenced by our Investors in People status which has been awarded since 1997.

In addition to a comprehensive range of in-house training courses, St Anne’s offers financial support to staff undertaking externally delivered courses where this can be shown to benefit the service they are providing.

New members of staff joining a St Anne’s work site, would be taken through an induction checklist by their manager. They would also receive ongoing training at their work site.

Staff have regular formal supervisions where their training needs are discussed and they can access any relevant courses detailed in the Training Plan.

Within their first 3 months, the staff member has to attend the 5 day Basic Training course which covers all the essential areas e.g. health and safety, emergency aid and abuse awareness.
