Supported living service for people with learning disabilities
St. Anne's currently provides the support in a supported living service in Rawcliffe, near Goole.
Creykes Lodge (view leaflet) is a registered care home for six service users who have learning disabilities and some associated challenging behaviour. It is situated in Rawcliffe, close to all local amenities. Staffing is provided 24 hours a day and the home is registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection. The housing element is provided separately by a partnering housing association.
Staff aim to provide a homely environment, where clients are encouraged to participate in the day to day running of their home.
Clients are supported to achieve further independence whilst offering a secure and safe place to learn new skills and experiences. Local amenities are used to meet the health, recreational and spiritual needs of the clients and many people attend leisure and day centres offering a variety of activities. Clients are supported to form new friendships and encouraged to take responsibility for themselves, making the choices and decisions which affect their daily lives. Comprehensive health care is provided and each year holidays, day trips and social events are part of the home’s calendar.
