St Anne's has been providing mental health services since 1978. We provide a range of services in Leeds and Kirklees. Many of the people receiving services have severe and enduring mental health problems.Staff offer support in using local facilities, drop-in centres and other activities as well as working closely with other agencies including psychiatric services - often a key element in maintaining the progress that service users have made.

Supported living services for people with mental health needs are provided in Kirklees, Wakefield, Leeds and York.

In addition, in Kirklees we provide a Volunteer Befriending Scheme providing one to one volunteer support for people who are in the main registered on enhanced Care Programme Approach. Kirklees also has a Carers Respite Service that supports both service users and their carers.

In Sheffield, the South East Community Support Service provides practical, emotional and social support to individuals and their carers complementing the role of the community mental health team and other organisations working in the area. The service aims to enable people to live independently by offering regular, planned practical support.

In Barnsley, we are part of a multi-disciplinary assertive outreach team working with people with severe and enduring mental health problems who find it difficult to engage with services.
