Julie Robinson, Chief Executive of St. Anne's, opened the day with a welcome and then the fun began!
There were an array of stalls and performances which included the band ‘Nordic Voice’ and a fantastic dance performance from ‘The Alphabets’.
'The Outsiders', who performed last year, gave us a treat by offering an interactive drumming session. There were stalls with cakes that had been made by staff from Leeds Supported Living, Bradford Supported Living and Substance services. There was the opportunity to join in two exhilarating Zumba classes; an art and photography competition, the winner of which will be announced today; and the opportunity to have a massage.
Even more! Jamie Jones Buchanan, who plays for Leeds Rhinos and Great Britain attended the event, signed autographs and then took clients onto the pitch to have ball skills coaching with himself and some other Leeds Rhinos coaches and players. This then moved into an exiting mini rugby match! There was a special raffle to win a signed rugby ball and players shirts.
Clients were also offered a Stadium tour and were treated to a lovely lunch in the Stadium cafe.
A big thank you to the organising committee made up of Christopher Mills, Sarah Healey, Stephanie Harper and Nicky Lyall; to our many stall holders and volunteers on the day; and also to Priesthorpe School staff and students.
Also thanks goes to Jamie Jones Buchanan and all at Leeds Rhinos and Headingly Stadium who offered the space and their time to make this day so special.
Lastly thank you to everyone who came and made the day so enjoyable! It is clear that this was a truly client focused day with everyone having so much fun.
