Queensway a registered nursing home received a Beacon Status as part of Gold Standard Framework (GSF) in Care Homes Quality Hallmark awards.
The GSF helps homes like Queensway improve the quality of care provided to clients to live well as they near the end of their lives and prevent inappropriate hospital admissions, enabling more people to remain at home with support according to their preferred wishes.

These care homes that have received the GSF Quality Hallmark Award have demonstrated a real improvement in the quality of care they provide.Research shows that these homes halve the number of people dying in hospital and reduce crisis admissions.This leads to greater satisfaction for families, people themselves and staff whilst reducing costs significantly for the NHS.
