St Anne’s become a Stonewall Diversity Champion

St. Anne's is pleased to announce that we have become a Stonewall Diversity Champion.

Black - High Res EPS

Stonewall is a charity which works for equality and justice for lesbians, gay men, bisexual and transsexual people through a variety of ways including policy development and lobbying for legal change. Stonewall’s Diversity Champions Programme is Britain’s best practice employers forum for sexual orientation and gender identity equality, diversity and inclusion. Currently at 750 members, the combined total of employers equates to almost a quarter of the UK workforce.

  • Stonewall can support St. Anne’s in engaging its staff through:
  • Reviewing internal policies (such as bullying and harassment; equality and diversity; and parental leave) to ensure they are LGBT inclusive and a programme promoting such policies.
  • Reviewing the training we offer staff and how this is tailored to specific job roles
  • Supporting us to increase our staff data regarding sexual orientation and how to utilise such data.
  • Advising on internal communication and signposting towards examples of best practice and innovation.

Simon Feeke, Director of Workplace and Membership Programmes, Stonewall said, ‘It’s great to see St Anne’s Community Services join our Global Diversity Champions programme, and we look forward to working with its team to ensure their service is inclusive for all lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans customers and staff alike’

We look forward to working closely with Stonewall.
