Harm Reduction Services

St Anne's Drugs Project offers a comprehensive Harm Reduction Service which provides in depth advice, information and support on all aspects of drug use and includes project based needle exchange. The range of services includes:


East Leeds Mobile Needle Exchange

Advice, information and support is given around all issues to do with drug use such as:

DVT

Overdose

Bloodbourne viruses

Injecting different drugs

Mixing drugs - including alcohol

Detox and treatment options

Safer smoking and snorting

Medical harms of injecting

The service also includes needle exchange and a needle disposal point.


Drug Injectors Group (D.I.G)

Advice and information is given about all aspects of injecting drug use.


Women's Drop-in

In a safe women only space where children are welcome, advice, information and support is given around all aspects of drug use and related issues, such as:

Harm reduction

Overdose

Diet and nutrition

Housing

Mental health

Safer injecting

Blood borne viruses

Family and childcare

General health

Sexual health
