St Anne’s Community Services appreciates the importance to provide a website that is accessible to the widest possible audience, regardless of ability or the technology used to access the internet.
We aim to constantly review and improve the accessibility of our website, taking guidance from industry best practice and many of the available standards and guidelines. We strive to meet conformance level AA of the World Wide Web Consortium’s (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with disabilities.
The site has been built using code compliant with Web standards for HTML and CSS.
Some tools we use include:
Text only/low graphics
Whilst we try to adhere to the accepted guidelines and standards for accessibility and usability, it is not always possible to do so in all areas.
We also try to ensure the language we use across the web site follows Plain English guidelines, and wherever possible explain any jargon used. If you find a page you do not understand because of the terminology used please let us know at email@example.com
We are always looking to improve our web site to bring all areas to the same level of overall web accessibility. In the meantime, should you experience any difficult accessing this web site please do not hesitate to contact us via email at firstname.lastname@example.org
