This conference held in conjunction with University of Huddersfield and is sponsored by Geometric Results In, (GRI) has been designed for learning disability nurse, learning disability nursing students, as well as people with an interest in learning disability nursing. With one eye on the history of our wonderful profession this conference will explore the key issues relevant to practice today and in the future, including:
- The value of, and values in learning disability nursing
- Lived Experience
- Developing research and evidence based practice
- End of life support for people with learning disability
- Sexual health needs of people with a learning disability
- Pathways for behaviour and sleep
The conference will also feature a networking lunch (provided) with services and stakeholders from across the West Yorkshire region.
