Learning Disabilities / Supported Living Service in Goole
About Creykes Lodge
We provide a homely environment, where clients are encouraged to participate in the day to day running of their home. Staff support clients in achieving further independence, whilst offering a secure and safe place to learn new skills and experiences.
We use local amenities to meet the health, recreational and spiritual needs of clients and many people attend leisure and day centres offering a variety of activities.
Clients are supported in forming new friendships and encouraged to take responsibility for themselves in making the choices and decisions which affect them in their daily lives.
Comprehensive health care is provided and each year holidays, day trips and social events are part of the home’s calendar.
Our residential services are geared to the needs of individuals and aim to produce independence, skills and abilities to enable people to have as much choice as possible in their own lives and to provide appropriate levels of care and support.
Our aim is to provide accommodation that is a home, rather than simply a house, by creating a supportive and secure environment in which we respect personal privacy and dignity and offer social and emotional support.
Clients are encouraged to take as much responsibility for themselves as they can, and to take advantage of all local leisure, educational and employment opportunities.
Clients are fully involved in the development of their care plans and the regular review of their needs. They are encouraged and supported in making informed choices about their lives and in taking responsibility for theconsequences of their decisions.
Even after leaving St. Anne’s, former clients continue to be offered support and friendship.
