Dewsbury Supported Living is a small individualised service providing care and support to people with physical and/or learning disabilities within their own home.
Dewsbury Supported Living team provides person centred support to individuals with learning disabilities and some challenging behaviour. Staff actively encourage all clients to be involved in the planning of the care and support them to be involved in any decision making. All clients have a person centred plan and support clients to maintain a healthy lifestyle and promote good health.
Dewsbury Supported Living Service is registered with the Care Quality Commission.
Staff are well trained and committed to supporting clients with the upmost respect and dignity. Staff support tenants to use/explore the wider community by using the local amenities i.e. shops, pubs, barbers and chemist. Staff support clients to fulfil their hobbies by going to adult education, theatres, football matches, and swimming etc

Who can refer?
Referrals to the service are accepted from health and social care professionals; the team at Dewsbury Supported Living are always pleased to have the opportunity to discuss how their service can meet the needs of adults with a learning disability.
