We support people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health issues or complex needs in their own homes to live the lives they choose, supported by the people they choose
We provide services based on the need of each individual and what you want us to provide ,whether this be 24 hour one to one support or an “outreach service” of a few hours a week.
We offer a flexible approach to service provision which is fully geared around the needs of each client.
We understand the importance of family and friend contact and pride ourselves on building and maintaining relationships.
The service is registered with Care Quality Commission.
Aims and Objectives of the Service
To provide high quality care to individuals with learning disabilities within the Gateshead 1 and 2, our priorities are to enable clients to feel fully supported whilst also gaining independence to manage tasks themselves as far as they are able.
We enable people to remain in their own home by providing high quality services and providing a flexible support system which can respond to their changing needs.
What does the Service offer
We offer a flexible approach to support that is fully geared around the needs and package of the individual.
We offer well trained, experienced staff that provide a consistent approach in order to provide stability for the clients whenever possible.
We also offer an understanding of the importance of others knowledge of the client such as family and friends and welcome a holistic multidisciplinary approach so that the client is fully supported. We strive to maintain the strong relationships that we have with local authority Care Managers and families alike.

In Gateshead 1 and 2 we currently support people with learning disabilities, physical disabilities, mental health issues or complex needs in their own homes to live the lives they choose, supported by the people they choose.

You can be referred via your social worker or care manager or via direct payment.
