Lillian Threadgold was recently nominated by her line Manager Claire Edmed. She was nominated for her consistent approach and always going the extra mile for the Clients she supports and for making a huge difference to a Clients life.

In her nomination Claire explained that Lillian supported a Client through a very difficult time in their life and also supported the family of the Client, showing empathy and a supportive, caring attitude. This has then strengthened the Clients and his family’s relationship with St. Anne’s. Claire said that because of her approach to her work, the Client and his family feel much more relaxed and know they can rely on her and her colleagues for any support in the future. This made such a difference to the relationship.
It was clear that Lillian was always willing to go the extra mile and have the Client’s needs at the forefront of her mind and it was clear this approach was valued by her manager and colleagues. There were lots examples where Lillian had worked hard to make just that extra effort that made a difference.
I felt that Lillian clearly demonstrated a commitment to her role, her team and the organisation as a whole. Making a difference this way meant so much to the Client and his family which had such a lasting impact. It was for this reason that I had the pleasure to surprise Lillian recently by announcing her as a worthy winner of Employee of the Month!.
