St. Anne’s are proud to announce a very successful evening at the Bradford College Distance Learning Awards on Tuesday 6th December.
A number of our staff including Elizabeth Goddard – Hyde Park Road, Leeds – and Lynne Smith – Bismarck Court, Leeds – were presented with certificates of achievement and were congratulated on their standard of work on the distance learning programme.
There was a special award for the most dedicated student on their programme nominated by NCFE. This was awarded to St. Anne’s staff member Carol Rodriguez Reina from Thornhill Road, Brighouse, West Yorkshire – Carol was praised for her attention to detail and for the quality and commitment which she undertook during her studies. Carol was awarded with an engraved plaque by NCFE.
There was an even bigger surprise in store from all those who attended.
There was a special award, the only one that was to be presented to an employer that evening. The award was for the most supportive employer and was sponsored by NCFE the distance learning company in partnership with Bradford College.
I’m very pleased to announce that St Anne’s were awarded “Most Supportive Employer”! We were awarded this for the way managers, staff and the St. Anne’s Learning and Development department supports employees to achieve distance learning with great results. We were commended on the way we have used distance learning effectively and this has improved outcomes for clients as a result!
Present at the event, in addition to the above, were Susie Maguire (Director of Operations), Annie Hewitt-Hill (FLM, Bismarck Court), Julie Gibson (FLM, Thornhill Road) and Mark Fennelly (Regional Operations Manager).
