Alison is a member of the Chartered Institute of Housing and  has been in the profession for over 30 years, working for Housing Associations and Local Authorities e in both front-line and strategic roles; and in housing education She is currently Head of Governance at Watmos Community Homes

Alison has a strong belief in the importance of affordable, quality social housing with a particular interest in service improvement, regulation and performance and experience as voluntary housing association board Vice Chair.

Alison has a commitment to housing education and attracting young people into the housing sector and lectures in housing at Leeds Beckett University

Alison is a Member of the Finance & Business Committee and a Member of the Quality & People Committee. Alison was elected to the board in 2021.
