Ira Jeffers is our Director of People, and oversees HR, Recruitment, Workforce Development and PBS.  Ira has more than twenty years’ experience working in a variety of charity, public sector and educational settings in both operational and HR leadership roles, most recently as Head of HR for AQA.

Ira’s early career began at St. Annes, where fresh out of university, he started as a HR Assistant at St. Mark’s Avenue, Leeds which gave him an understanding of our services and a love for public services.  From there he moved from St. Anne’s to West Yorkshire Police, which was followed by senior HR roles at the University of Bradford.

Ira has extensive experience as a school governor at Adel school, and as a youth leader across Leeds.
