Mark is an experienced governance professional and has a wide variety of experience in governance across different sectors including professional sports, education, public sector and financial. Mark is a paid member of staff and supports the board’s efficient functioning, ensures compliance with regulations, and advises the board on governance matters. He plays a crucial role in board recruitment and development and ensures that everything is in place and on time for deadlines for Board and Committee meetings with the trustees.

Mark is the Chair of the Yorkshire and Humber Branch and Fellow of the Chartered Governance Institute UK & Ireland. Mark is a Chartered Company Secretary and a Member of the Institute of Leadership.

Away from work, Mark enjoys spending time with his children, listening to music and reading.
