Muhammad Ijaz
Muhammad is an experienced internal audit, risk and governance professional with more than 18 years of experience. He is currently Group Head of Internal Audit and Enterprise Risk Management for a global fuel retail, convenience and foodservice group.
He has held senior leadership roles across diversified investment and international businesses, supporting boards and senior management on governance, risk management, internal control and organisational change. Muhammad began his career with KPMG and is a Fellow of the ACCA, a member of the ICAEW, a Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) and a Certified Fraud Examiner.
As a Trustee, Muhammad is keen to use his experience to support strong Governance, financial resilience and effective oversight, helping St Anne’s to continue to deliver positive outcomes for the people and communities it serves. He lives in Lancashire and enjoys hiking and camping with his family.
