Victoria Pattinson

Vicki believes that safe high quality care is built on genuine, human relationships and a culture of continuous learning. Starting her career as a qualified social worker, Vicki has gained invaluable first-hand experience across a wide variety of frontline and management roles before stepping into senior local government leadership as a Director of Adult Social Services (DASS). The diversity of roles has given Vicki a grounded perspective on what good quality, person centred care looks like in practice. In her role as Director of Adult Social Services, Vicki holds the statutory accountability for adult safeguarding and is a driving force behind partnership working, focusing on strengthening safeguarding systems, improving quality with a relentless focus on making a difference that is meaningful to people who draw upon care and support services, working together with people to ensure their voices are heard and that they are part of the change. Vicki is keen to bring her experience and knowledge and collaborative spirit to her role as a Trustee ensuring that the focus is upon delivering dignified, outstanding, safe care.
Outside of work, Vicki enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She has a keen interest in wellbeing activities, practicing yoga and she is strengthening her knowledge of the Bowen technique.
